Rates & Policies

RW&SD Board adopted on January 14th 2025 a new policy on late payment fees, delinquent accounts, shut off notices and payment arrangements. The first time a bill payment is past the due date, the late fee will be $7.50, the second time payment is late during the calender year the late fee will be $15, the 3rd time $25. As soon as an account payment is past the due date, a shut off or disconnect notice will be sent in the mail to the customer's address on file, this will be the only noticed required to be given to customers, the customer will have 30 days to pay the account in full, otherwise services will be disconnected. If services are shut off, the reconnect fee will be $100 the first time and if services have to be shut off a second time in the calender year the reconnect fee will be $175.

RW&SD provides a service and those services need to be paid for every month by the due date. It is the customers responsibilty to pay their bill on time and to check their mail and to know whether they have a balance due on their account. It is not RW&SD's responsibilty to remind customers to pay their bill before the due date.
